Hey all,
Stumbled onto this place after cosplay cammy pointed it out to me on IRC a few weeks ago telling me about the retro event. Killing time today at work (saturday) and thought I would register and go on a posting run.
Anyways, 30 yr old draftsmen/shop detailer who is into retro games seeks like minded aussies for casual gaming and trading. Into Amiga/C64/Various consoles and always on the look out for new experiences with older systems. Mame a must. No nintendo fanbois pls k thx. |

Thanks for the welcome guys.
I am pretty keen to go to the convention actually, Ballarat is about a two hour drive from where I live, will just have to make sure I am not working on that particular Saturday.
Nintendo fanboi = Nintendo Fan boy, someone who believes video gaming began with the NES.
@tomz/TIDE: Never was affiliated with any organized amiga group except the other kids at school I used to trade with |

Fanboi, love that term but I guess we should also bear in mind that someone who started their retro gaming less than 20 years ago would think that NES was the start of it, for me the Atari was the start and the game was PONG

G'day,
I'm in Melbourne too! Hope to see you at the con. And although I love Nintendo, I'm old enough to know that when people say, "the 64", I don't think they mean Nintendo 64! No offense to the younger retro gamers out there, we can't ALL be cool, thirty-somethings! _________________ Daniel C |
