Hi all, just wanted to know if anyone can help me with repairing my controller pads because they are beginning to squeak and often jam. What would you recommend? |

It sounds like the rubber contacts inside the controller have broken - after years of use it is not uncommon. This causes the buttons to loose their springyness and therefor get jammed.
i guess ebay might have some new rubber contacts? they are dead easy to replace by the way. |

I guess it would be easier - but they are really not hard to fix. But i guess it depends on how much the rubber contacts go for on ebay... |

30ish?? Euro ?I assume you are refering to, thats extremely high isnt it? I would have thought youd be able to pick them up a bit cheaper here in OZ, and not necessarily on evilBay either just in private sales....

they are getting that pricey, especially for ones that you can guarantee are still in good condition without actually seeing them in person.
nothing worse that buying another dud controller (which is why nobody buys e 3rd party Nintendo controllers anymore....they usually end up shit within weeks) |
