This is a neat little mod that i thought up just the other day.

basically it allows you to choose three different modes, all from the reset button!

I have replaced the red power led with an rgb led.

When you press and hold the reset button, the power led blanks, then it cycles through red - green - blue.

if you let go on red, it will select 50hz mode.

if you let go on green it will select 60hz mode

if you let go on blue it will reset.


I thought it was a good idea because you dont need to hack up your snes console by putting switches in - in order to be able to select between 50/60hz modes.

I guess i could also expand it so you could select lock / unlock modes as well...

Nice job Brad, and it was all made possible on a Commodore monitor, great!! Wink (thats what it looks like to me,maybe a 1084 series?)

Or am I dead wriong and its plugged into some old TV ? Embarassed

Yes you are correct, it is a commodore 1084 monitor. that's why the image looks just so darn sharp Wink
