For me this is EASY - Super Mario Kart hands down.
I can play two player match race all day - and thats just playing on one track the whole time (Ghost Valley 1)
by the way, has anyone ever attempted to L / R jump over the gap when you've got a star?..... it's hard!

Yep, Super Mario World is a very close second for me.
Thats the theme for the site (im guessing you noticed that though...)

To be honest there are so many great games on the Snes, the one I keep going back to is Super Probotector/Contra 3. For me it is the best run and gun you can get (even better then Metal Slug 3!) the graphics, pace, gameplay, and music are spot on for me. I?ve got quite a few versions of this game:
Super Probotector ? The first version I bought, contrary to popular opinion I liked the robots
Contra 3 ? Borrowed this off a friend and then he moved and I lost contact with him, I?ve got the Jap version and the box art on this game is stunning
Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX ? A cut down versio of the classic without the top down levels but the levels that were added offered something new to the experience
Also downloaded the Wii version, so my obsession is complete!
Still get shivers down my spine when I see the Skull boss tear through that cargo door

I'm going to add Super Metroid!
this game had soo much depth to, soo many puzzles, soo many secrets, soo many power ups.
the sound fx and background music also were amazing!

Great Metroid game, I've completed all the metroid 2D games except this one, it's so difficult later on! Great level design and graphics _________________ Blast off and strike the evil Bydo Empire |

Contra 3 for me too, although Legend of the Mystical Ninja comes in a very close second. |
