I have so many fond memories of my days in the arcade, but for me 3 games really stick in my mind because i spent a hell of alot of money and hours on these games.
The first being the button basher "Track & Field"
I`ll always remember this because you needed really two people to play it,one doing the button bashing and the other getting the angle and take off, throwing exactly right. This is what i was playing in 1983.
The Second Being everyone`s favourite "Wonderboy"
What a great game this was and was very happy when this game eventually came out on the Master System.
Last but not least was "Afterburner"
I guess i remember this one because the fact you sat in the covered unit and as you banked the plane from side to side the seat you sat in moved in the same direction, another one i was pleased to see released on the Mater System.
There are so many classic arcade games that over the years i`ve loved playing,to many to list really but these ones are the ones i remember during my *.
What arcade game or games bring back fond memories for you?? |

I have never had the chance to play Afterburner in a cockpit cabinet, I hope that one day I will.
Galaga and Super Sprint are two Arcade games that bring back good memories. |

well i have to say that i also LOVED Wonderboy, it was one of the games that i would play with the palm of my hand facing up and holding the joystick in between my middle and index fingers. It was one of the GREATEST arcade games ever!
also super sprint was great to play with friends.
ontop of these games im going to have to add 1942 and also the cocktail cabinet MOON PATROL!! |
