Yeah, I tried three other games, so it'd definately the recorder. Maybe I stuffed around with "that screw" too much. If you have got a recorder tom sell, maybe we can do business at the con? _________________ Daniel C |

Radio Shack tape drives should work fine as long as they have an input for earphone and microphone. Thanks, mate! _________________ Daniel C |

Hey, mixojoe,
Which version of Joust are you playing? I'm most familiar with the 2600 version. When I played the arcade version on Midway Arcade Treasures on the PS2, I was actually a little disappointed. Even though the 2600 version sports exceedingly basic graphics, it becomes soooo addictive as a two player game! In fact, the 2600 really only comes into its own with its simultaneous two player games. Take Outlaw for example, or even Video Olympics. Both of these games are really basic graphically but ace with two players! _________________ Daniel C |

Hey Daniel, I am playing it on a MAME32 emulator. I am currently building an arcade MAME machine in the shed. _________________ Visit http://www.sickindividual.com |

No problems will do soon as it is 90% complete. I managed to find an old TNMT stand-up chassis (no decals) for free. I was going to us a TV in the shell of a 19" CRT but it is a bit of a challenge fitting it. I have decided to fit my old 19" LCD into it. That really is all that has to be done now. The second challenge is to try to sneak it into the house! _________________ Visit http://www.sickindividual.com |

Defender on my Atari 800XL. I think I prefer this to the arcade version. It's possibly a bit easier
Paper Mario on my N64. I'm on to the fifth star in lava-lava island. |

phantasty star IV on my new nomad L
It's a good thing that the battery lasts about 2 hours with full brightness, because that also happens to be the length of my daily train commute. Also, the looks you get from ripping out a bulky nomad are totally priceless (especially in front of people playing a psp). _________________ call me when it's a catastrophe |

Just to see what all the fuss is about, I finally got around to purchasing a copy of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for the PSone so I'm playing that at the moment (I have to get my money's worth after the fortune I paid for it!) but I'm finding it pretty hard going. Visually and aurally it's a beautiful game and I just love any 32-bit 2D games but I can't even get past the first major boss (a team-up of two baddies at once who fly)! Amyone else out there own a copy of SOTN? I'd love to get some feedback as to what I'm doing wrong or is it really that darn hard? _________________ Daniel C |
