I agree with you, the A500 was my first Amiga and the one to be the best. Especially with the 512kb upgrade in it. I remember buying the A500 and then a little while later going on my bike for round trip of 32 km, just to get my upgrade. Man, was I proud to own it. Having 1 mb in total to play games! Got my brother jealous of me for a while then!

My fave Amiga is one of my A500s,it runs all the old demos from the early 90s era, which I think was the most productive years for the Amiga
The ease of removing the HDD from the left hand side of the machine to insert my AR cart makes it one of my all time fave retro machines and its only 2nd to my C64.

I have never ever bought any software for any of my Amigas as I got them all free (passed on from friends + ctxs/and or people who passed away Sad )

Smile tomz Smile

Yeah it has to be the good old AMIGA 500!

I'll never forget the day my dad bought it for me one year, I think 1988.

He bought me the BAT PACK.

I still love that Batman game even after all these years.

Jesus, it must of cost my old man about 500 quid at the time, if not more!!!

Very Happy
