which version of asteroids do you prefer?

so which version do you prefer? the flickery graphics on the 2600, or the updated 'hi-res' 7800 version?

They both suck.

Sorry, but the 7800 version is just a dog. Good thing it was free (on PAL systems).

But, the 2600 version made do with what it had, and was very well implemented considering the limitations of the system.

The Atari computer version beats both IMO despite the better looking graphics in the 7800 version.

when you say the atari computer, which one are you refering to?

8 bit.

Sorry, I forget about the ST at times, even though I had one not long after they arrived here.

Unsure if I've even played the ST version - but lots of ports to the ST of the classic games were done badly.
