Hi guys,
I`m looking at buying a Pocket PC but unsure as to which to get,i`ll be using it mainly for emulators! not sure if the items i`ve been looking at are good enough but i was thinking of picking up a Tungsten T3 or TX.
I know you brad own a couple so i guess this question is aimed at you but all are welcome to give me your advice as i value all of your opinions.

well, this is something i know a bit about!
if you're using it mainly for emulators then the best one (in my opinion) is the motorola A1000
its actually a pda/phone but you dont need to use it as a phone, you dont even need a sim card - you can just use it as a pda.
its great because it has LOADS of emulators for it, and you play them in landscape mode, it has a directional joypad and loads of game buttons.
emulators you can get:
SNES
NES
MEGADRIVE
MASTER SYSTEM
GAME GEAR
ATARI ST
MAME
DOOM
SCUMMVM
GAMEBOY
GAMEBOY COLOR
COMMODORE 64
SPECTRUM
AND MORE!
they are cheap off ebay (well here in australia you can get one for around $100)
they also have loads of other features like inbuilt camera, GPS, bluetooth and some great stereo speakers!
there are heaps and heaps and heaps of programs to download for them and can do everything that a windows pocket pc can do AND MORE!!! |
