First of all - congratulations on being the first to sign up to the forum!
I have to admit that i havn't to this day completed monkey island, but i agree that it is an amazing adventure game - does anyone remember how many disks the original monkey island took on the Amiga?
One pretty funny part that i remember is going in the spitting competition in Monkey Island II...what kind of game programmer comes up with this stuff?

Great game, came on 4 disks.
Unlike the monstrously large sequel that came on a whopping 11! |

Yeah, but constantly swapping disks over as you entered a different screen all added to the fun = )
can you imagine if they had a game like this on the commodore 64 that needed 11 tapes? just think how long that would take to complete! |
