@Brad

Yeah i know but i have an A1200 towered already that`s expanded about
as far as possible (except replacing for new or PPC) A600T seems a good
plan only if i can get hold of an Accelerator card for it which is proving
hard to find.

In an ideal world i`d of course have a custom tower made for the job but
funds dictate!! so it`ll be a hack job...not sure if it`s going to be tower or
desktop. what do you think???

@brad

what you got to remember is leaving yourself enough room for expansion
i know the motherboard of A600 won`t take up alot of room but once you
add accelerator,i`m dropping the hardrive in favour of IDE Compact Flash
adaptor and 4GB Compact Flash Card which will make it quieter and faster and considering doing the same for the A1200T,was going to use IDE Adaptor that takes 2 CF`s but not to sure how well it would work on the miggy.

Ever considered removing the hard drives for compact flash cards? i know they are still expensive per MB to hard drives but they are worth it and will come down in price as they get more popular.

compact flash is a great option, and a 4gb card will be plenty for anything that i would load onto my amiga = )
