Hey guys, tomorrow ill be modding a SNES control pad so you can plug it into a standard USB port and use it with emulators.
ill upload details on how to do this hopefully tomorrow (depends if i get it finished tomorrow)
so be sure to check out the mods section for the guide!

Okay i managed to finish it but its having a few problems at the moment...
ive made heaps of these in the past using parts from a USB control pad, but this time im doing it with a usb numeric keypad which i can by from my local 'cheap' shop for $5 each, hopefully ill have it working tomorrow and ill post details... |

Okay ive finished the mod but it didnt quite work for me...
basically i pulled apart the keypad, and control pad, i figured out where everything needed to be connected, so i connected it all up (and cut tracks where needed) put it all together and tested it. i opened notepad at first and checked every button, since the internal workings is a number pad, when i pushed different buttons it would just come up in notepad as number eg up is 1 down is 2 etc...
so it all worked fine, so i loaded up snes9x and setup the controller and assigned each button accordingly. all that worked!
i played super mario kart and it worked fine.
now the problem came with playing games like super mario world, where you push multiple buttons at once eg push left, b and a (run left then jump) it wouldnt let me push three buttons at once.)
so basically it was a bit of a failure
oh well, back to the old way of doing things!
