Nice haul but what's KIN?
If I'm spotting the box correctly it appears to be another one of those ECP games and so you may have found a completely MIA game!
Could you doublecheck the name please. |

Well done you've found yet another ECP game we've never heard of!
Preservation is now the name of game!
Have you got a scanner and the means to dump the disk? |

Yes please, a dump of the disk would be great and as far as I know most ECP games have no ondisk copy protection so it shouldn't be be any problem to make one. |

Ta for them, but they're both a bit blurry down one side, if it's not too much trouble could you do them again, one of the front, and one of the spine and back and this time weigh them down with something because they've obviously not laid completely flat on the scanner which is why it's got blurry bits.
As for ami/pc transferring check out the faqs over at abime.net

Np worries m8, whenever you've got time
Just keep that disk in a safe environment, we don't want it getting corrupt before it's dumped! |

The scans are great, cheers m8.
As for the disk...That's a real pity, if it's truly corrupt then there's not much you can do..
The best thing to try to start off with is known as the spin and blow trick which has saved disks for me on a few occaisons.
Just push back the metal shutter and gently blow on the surface of the disk, use your thumb on the metal central bit to rotate the disk as you carry on blowing, remember to do both sides.
This can get rid of any loose dust/dirt that may be causing the read error, after you've done that, try dumping the disk again and hopefully this time it will work.
Good Luck! |
